Christie is the daughter of Jack and Beth Dunn of Clinton, Pennsylvania. She is a 2001 graduate of South Side High School and a 2006 West Virginia University graduate with both a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Elementary Education. She is currently employed at the Altoona Area Junior High School as an eighth grade Special Education Teacher. Jarrod is the son of James and Denise Klausman of Altoona. He is a 2001 graduate of the Altoona Area High School and a 2007 graduate of Marietta College with a Bachelor's Degree in History with a focus in Secondary Education. He is currently studying for a Master's Degree in Secondary Education while both substitute teaching and coaching in the Hollidaysburg Area School District. The couple is planning a July 4, 2009, wedding in the Altoona area.
